The scrubbing fluid is added to the fill from above, runs through it downwards in the countercurrent and absorbs pollutants that are present.<\/p>\n<p>The scrubbing fluid is collected in the reservoir attached at the bottom of the packing column after running through the packing fill. The cleaned exhaust air leaves the packing column in the upper part through the gas exit port.
